The FilComBo: Filipino Community of Bougainville

When I returned on August 24 , the Filipino Community of Bougainville (FilComBo) had already set the stage for a series of spirited gatherings. Each occasion became a testament to our culture, faith, and camaraderie. The FilComBo in barong tagalog 🎶 August 30 – Faith and Tradition We sponsored the 5th Sunday of August Mass , leading the church choir, offering a graceful offertory dance, and capping the celebration with a lively post‑Mass community dance. Clad in elegant Filipino barong , we brought a touch of home to Bougainville's sacred space. Beggs Conference Center , we joined the Patriotic Day festivities with a celebration of our own -- feast of Filipino dishes and the unmistakable joy of karaoke.
