Fulfilling my promise to my nephew, Keith, I booked our Boracay trip on April 25-28, 2014. This was my graduation and congratulatory presents altogether for having graduated in High School and passing the UP College Admission Test (CAT), respectively. I initially offered this in exchange for an honor roll. But then after super-typhoon Yolanda struck Tacloban and for a while relocated the children to Surigao, I offered it for simply graduating high school. And then passing the UPCAT was an added value to this gift. Firstly, I secured the round trip air ticket from Manila to Kalibo for 2 since the proposed vacation dates fell on summer time when airfares are pricey. Then a little later, Keith's air ticket from Tacloban to Manila and vice versa was bought. Then the online shopping for the cheapest but comfortable hotel accommodations followed. Being Gay Did you ever catch yourself thinking that a man you see is gay? What traits of a person or cues of his appearance or movements can really cause such an opinion? Lost in Translation, literally Dupong was particularly interested to see in person the source of the Brunei’s wealth – the petroleum. The Oil and Gas Discovery Center is located in Seria. It was said to be a two hour ride away from Bengawan. We must be in Seria before lunchtime so we readied very early because we expected the driver  to  pick  us  up  at  9am.  Since Jane arranged  our drive, we assigned Jackie to contact the driver. She advised us at exactly 9am while finishing our breakfast that the car was already around. We then searched the parking area only to receive the next message that the pickup was lost in Sheraton Hotel. Being lost has set the tone of the day. We waited for a while for the driver to reach Radisson Hotel.
