Halloween 2023: Solo Travel to Turkey

Image
Another long weekend in the first week of November. Since Middle East is close by (Tunisia was my official location that time), so I picked Turkey. 5 days (Nov 1-5, 2023) may not be enough to fully enjoy this beautiful country, but I picked Istanbul and Cappadocia to tip a toe in the water. Had few attempts to visit Turkey; I applied for a e-visa once to conduct training for South Sudan customers of FreeBalance. Just like my previous attempts, the training never realized. This 2023 trip had finally happened. Istanbul Turkey for me is at first an interesting intercontinental country; having both European and Asian sides. I came to realize that it is much more amazing! Turkish history, culture and tourism is incredible and a lot, so I started my journey with Istanbul and Cappadocia. What's amazing for me when I travel to another country is the interconnected transport. Why? Because it made traveling around easier. Istanbul City has Metro - Tram - Tour Bus - Tour Boat connections. It ...

ACtive in Morocco

ACtive stands for "Anneth and Crisanto, tandem in various escapades". We normally schedule a trip together once a year before Covid19 pandemic. And we are reACtivated!!! Anneth and I were back on the road together to tick off more travel bucket lists. Morocco was the chosen destination this year for various reasons and considerations: no visa requirement for Filipinos, closer to Asia, and another colorful culture and history. We stayed in 3 big cities: Casablanca, Fes & Marrakech to spend 8 full days of touring around the country, including the blue city of Chefchaouen, green city of Meknes, red city of Marrakech, and the desert in the Atlas Mountains. Colors play an important role in Morocco: Chefchaouen is Blue; Fes is Yellow; Meknes is Green; Rabat is Blue & White; Casablanca is White; and, Mar...

As was originally planned, I started my journey from Melbourne and finished in Sydney. The Ayer's Rock in Uluru was formerly part of the itinerary. But after the pandemic, it is yet to reopen for tourism. Melbourne I started my trip on March 31st; stayed at Melbourne City for 5 nights and another 5 in Sydney City. Observed 2 international events in Melbourne, the International Flower Festival and the Formula 1 Grand Prix, and the Catholic rituals in Sydney with fellow Filipinos. - City Walk Tours - International Flower Fest - Great Ocean Road - Penguin Parade My train ride from Melbourne's Southern Cross Station to Sydney's Central Station took 14 hours, with 2 hours delay at Harden Station. Sydney My best |x|perience in the country was the ease of using an electro...
