This was one unplanned trip I had so far. All of a sudden, Anneth Canoy, invited me to Bandung, all expense paid. My share would only be my fare to and from Bandung. Here I encountered booking problem with kiwi.com which caused me to run out of cash. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the treat of a lifetime... This was as well our first attempt for moving photography, to make videos of our trips. As can be seen, Bandung is one good tour destination!

An adventure with friends of similar level of energy, curiousity, and wanderlust. It was in Coron Island of Palawan in the Philippines with Aleks, Bien, and Dottie. Upon arrival, we went to the port to rent a boat for the two-day island hopping. Then we climbed the Tapyas Hill to get a sunset view of the town and the islands. It was a breathtaking climb of 750+ steps. On top of the tower stood the giant cross, made of steel and illuminated with light bulbs all around it, and a cellular tower, standing side by side. Sunset view could be a familiar face but to observe it on top of Coron was completely outstanding. Insider Tip: When you're coming from Coron town proper, don't mind those tricycle drivers offering you a ride to Tapyas Viewdeck. It is just a walking distance and a little climb up the starting point of the ladder on the way up the hill. I'm sure you can bear the strain and ascent is a perfect warm up. One of my long-kept dreams is to bring my immediate family to family-friendly destinations, outside the Philippines, like Hong Kong. Year 2017 was the milestone year for me to realize this dream. August 5-8 was the final dates for my mother, Mama Dulcing, and my sister, En's family, with Jun her husband, and Bella their daughter. On August 5, we departed Manila early in the morning, checked in successfully, went through the Immigration counter smoothly. When we were about to land at Hong Kong, we noticed that there was discrepancy in our mother's documentation. For so long we knew that her name is spelled Dulcesima, however, the passport bio page we realized contains a different spelling, Delcesima. The boarding pass and the plane ticket spelled Dulcesima. As per my experience at the arrival of any country, the officer would look into the boarding pass and the passport. This scared me; she may be held at immigration and worse be sent back to Manila.
